Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

This is for the failure of LDHD and not just one nurse. I get a phone msg after my office visit yesterday. do not get an email survey, do not have any access to a survey on my patient portal, no, like little kids, LCHD only sends a text message that just shuts off while i am doing it and cant get back to it. so i will leave it here. I did not get an actual office visit last time, your nurse lied and made up some BS story about a mandated wellness visit. I refused; she lied and said it was mandated. That is malpractice, in case you did not know? I have a right to say no and you have a responsibility to respect my NO. Since I did not get what I needed, I set up another appointment with someone on Middle Ave I have never seen. I only needed 3 blood tests, had names and even the number for one test. the receptionists where great, the first nurse i seen was great, then i seen the nurse and she got stuck on trying to talk me into nothing i came there for. i told her no, THREE TIMES. I screamed that i have a right to say no and you need to respect that NO. she babbled and kept talking about sending me to a specialist. i needed the blood tests, that is all I needed, and she just could no

Tried to schedule an appointment because I have a hole in my tooth and whoever answers the phone for the Elyria office needs to get a grip and be professional and talk to people like sheβs got some sense. I was told she couldnβt schedule me unless I give her my full social security number over the phone and I told her I didnβt feel comfortable doing that but that I have everything else I need ID, Insurance card. She proceeded to tell me Iβm the one who called them for help and if I didnβt give her my social she would not help me at all. Very fishy and rude glad they showed their true colors before I stepped in there .
